Need some quick help in Mt. Vernon

Have a friend that had a truck stolen up there. They found it and said it didn't look torn up. He wants to just hook up the trailer and go get it but I think they are stupid playing poker with the storms rolling in and out this week. He's worried about the impound fees that are racking up. I'm trying to convice him to spend tomorrow and find a freight company but that isn't working.

Is anyone close that could go get it and take it home and save the impound fees? Or go by there and say it's screwed?

I'm kind of pushed on time right now. He wants to leave at 5 a.m. tomorrow.

Hopefully there won't be any issues. He's going to fedex the keys up to another friends family and they are going to take it back to their house. It sure sounds like a couple of kids joy riding and they even left it in a parking garage.

If all looks well he'll just fly up and drive it home.

I was wondering about that also, but it didn't seem like they were going to have a problem.

No one has called back for the trailer yet so I'm hoping it's good.
