Need help installing my lift in IN - Got a garage?

McFly-I'd have to dig up some paperwork, but I ordered BPE's all around and have OME shocks. However, it was installed by a friend in IL, and he didn't mention anything. Where did you learn that, etc?
I got everything from DPG and coulda sworn they were JKS. I'll check.

Let's plan on April 6th - my Mom is coming up from Kentucky next Thursday, and she wouldn't be too happy to see that I'd dropped $2000 on lift, tires, SYE and driveshaft when that money's supposed to be going toward my education. ;) Does the 6th work for everybody?

That's incredible! My 4x4 shop around here could do the SYE, but it would cost me an arm and a leg. And then I couldn't drive my Jeep with only two limbs.

I called up NAPA today and he said the front left and right were different for a '95 4.0L 4x4 YJ. He said about $22.04 each. Sound right?

It's my Jeep - I wanna be the first to bust a knuckle or lose a finger. :D My life in college and my line of work is too clean, too dressy. That's why for me at least, God invented Jeep. :)

Excellent idea! I'll probably still bring some metal and sealant to cover any holes we MIGHT have to make.

That is cool with me. Spread the word. We may have to do it in two parts.

yes the part numbers on the YJ lines are different. there is a groove on the block that is on the back? of the caliper that lines up with the tab on the brake line - so you'll need one of each side of lines...
and of course the rear...

Yes Ranger is correct about the brake lines.

Also, run a search on the JKS BPEs, many on here have used them with OMEs without any trouble. I wish I could help you but I haven't used the two together myself, only the shocks.

Awesome - I just got off the phone with Jim (the owner of the shop where we're working on my Jeep) and Josh @ Tom Wood's. I can pick up a Tom Wood's driveshaft for $299 shipped. Jim can get me an AA SYE for $250, and will install it that Wednesday during the day for $300. I'm picking up some 33" tires/wheels this weekend, so I have everything I need except front brake lines and an adjustable trackbar. :D

I look forward to meeting people there, and putting faces with names, and personally thanking people for the help. From talking with Jim for only a few minutes, it's clear he obviously has done a HD SYE kit 1,000,000+ times or more. He'll clean up the case and repaint it, put all new bolts in, new seals, etc. etc. :) Since Jim and I will take care of the SYE/driveshaft during the day, we should definately be able to knock out the lift that night!!!

Now is the point in the day where I go down this entire thread and give everyone positive feedback! I had a great 22nd birthday yesterday and I'm beside myself with anticipation about getting these new tires/wheels/lift/shocks/SYE/driveshaft all installed. :D
