NAXJA supportive of the XJ community?

My post was removed where I was asking for some pics. Yes it had a link to a website I just started, but that site is in no way a competitor to NAXJA. Just axing my post is a non-supportive action to the XJ community.

I own another large website, and we don't kill of any posts to other sites, even if the site is a direct competitor. The reason is we support the Mopar community and want our members to have access to all the help and information they can find.

I know this will probably get deleted as well but coming from a Mopar background we help each other out and I thought XJ sites would be the same.
 
If you think the site wasn't a competitor, you might want to take a look at the mod tech, advanced tech, picture showcase, and closed/past NAXJA event subforums.

The rest is opinion and I don't feel like arguing that.
 
How is a site with 2 members, with a focus on crawling a competitor. And the competitor issue is the real problem, Just because there are other XJ sites closing them all off and marking them off limits isn't helping the XJ community. That is the real problem. But hey, now I know. XJ seems not to fall under Mopar so I won't assume this site is like any other Mopar site anymore.

You're absolutely right that the XJ doesn't fall under mopar. It was designed by AMC, later built by Chrysler but has always been and only been a JEEP product.

What forum did you post your picture request in? Picture requests are not welcome in most of the forums - only in the picture forum.

Posting a link to another forum, when you only have a couple of posts, is going to be viewed as spam. There are 50,000 users here.. people try and get our attention a lot.

You want to see people helping you out? Ask tech questions. You'll get tech answers.

Also, less sand in vag, no one likes a whiner. :)
 
Actually I have asked tech questions before, which went unanswered but did find the answer on my own non XJ site.

Yes I know the history, and if you want to be picky then be picky. Mopar does umbrella Jeep now.

Typically Mopar (or if you want to be picky Dodge) owners own a Jeep product. That is a fact. On my Dodge website I would say that there is at least 10K members with a Jeep, roughly 1/3 of the membership.

I was just asking for a little help, pictures. Just thought it was lame to get deleted with out any explanation. Don't think that is any more whining than you whining about me whining (the kid sand comments, really, are we 12 here?).
 
I see one tech thread posted, in 2006. Yeah, no one knew the answer. I can tell you that the 4.0 won't go into the 86 very easily - the engine bay is 2" shorter. The 2000 interior can go into the early chassis, but it requires a lot of work and will always fit funny.

Thats the only other thread you have started, other than your picture request, which you still haven't answered my question on - which forum was it in?

Asking for us to post pictures of our hardcore rock crawler XJ's for you to use in promotion of your own XJ Crawler type site.. and you don't feel that is in 'competition'?

This club is not only made up of primarily hardcore XJ rock crawlers, but actually sponsors a King of the Hammers team.

Looking at the only other thread you had started (2006) you tried to promote yet some other XJ site you own then, too.

You haven't been wronged yet, so let me make this absolutely clear.

That is the only time I needed help, no reason to ask a question when I know the answer right? But that problem was already solved like I stated.

It was this forum, sorry.

To use photos from somewhere else to bring people to your site is at best dishonest.

Besides, ever notice that NAXJA has plenty of crawlers? You might say we were one of the first websites to embrace XJ crawlers.

I didn't own an XJ site back then, so not sure what you are talking about.

What is this deal with competition? It is an XJ site with no members, sponsors, traffic etc. It is impossible to make a new site as big or bigger than the leader in the field, especially when it is a specific model. It is impossible to become the "competition".

I know this because I own a large nitch website. Nobody can come in and duplicate it and run my site off. No need to be scared and delete any link to a related site so we don't do that.

So I am an idiot? Hardly. I am not going to say you are, because you probably aren't. A pussy maybe, but I don't know if you are an idiot. I can say that because:
1. you are scared of a 3 member website
2. you resort to name calling behind your computer
3. you got all angry over this dumb little post

And no I am not calling you a name, just referencing what you might be. If you are going to cry about it well that further proves my point.

I have a large Dodge site, not a crawler site. But I am going to use pictures from it because alot of the members own XJ crawlers. I asked here because I thought some people might think it would be cool to have their rig be shown 100 percent of the time on a website. In other words some people might like to help out and showcase their rig.
 
I'm not angry, I'm not hiding behind anything, and I'm not scared.

You stated in your post that your site would not be in competition with Naxja, because it is specific to XJ Crawlers. I pointed out that you are wrong.

Prior to looking that thread up and seeing that you are being whiny over your own ignorance, I was actually trying to help you find out why your thread was axed (we do have a no picture request rule in most of the forums).

We also have a rule against linking to other sites that you hold some kind of interest in, such as your new XJ club.

But I called you an idiot specifically because you demonstrated that you *are* an idiot. Coming here asking us to provide you with pictures of our jeeps to promote your own site with is an idiotic request. Nothing in this is angry, or scared, or trying to hide behind anything.
