NAXJA Holiday Toy Drive, November 21st, 2009

We didnt get alot of pics but had a good time. all in all had about 10 people show, and bring some toys. Somewhere between 40 and 50 toys i think. (my wife counted not me). Oldmanxj brought most thanx to him. Was a good day, mud dried up. Was cold in the morning with the wind but ended nice. thanx to everyone who came by and brought toys.

Thanks for the update, and thanks again for hosting this event. Looks like we smashed last years record by far. 140+ toys is great. Thanks again to everyone who donated toys.

Luke, it was good to meet you! Thanks for collecting up the toys, we'll coordinate in the next few days or so.

Thanks for the donations everyone! And I know Don had a really good showing there.

I was glad to take Green Junk out and drive over a couple rocks. I actually hit a boatside!

I had a great time @ hollister. I put my xj on its side later in the day. but not really any damage. We had a flat on the "cheap Jeep". thats when we lost the group. I will fix my mirror and door handle and be ready for the next run.

That is awesome! I had the trip planned, but a friend passed away. Looks like you guys had a great time.

Phil and I made it to the Marine Corps reserve training center in Concord today to drop off the toys. 150 toys is quite the haul, even the Marines were impressed. Thanks again to everyone who donated toys, see you all next year for the Sierra Chapter's 3rd annual Holiday Toy drive.

Its things like this that make my heart warm just a little. Well that and a decent amount of whiskey.

Good job fellas.

I promised some pics to you guys from an actual Toy distribution. We received over 500 toys from our church and other local churches and from Toys for Tots. These shots are of the toys and some of the people who are organizing and distributing them.
