Nates 4x4

I ordered a bumper 2 weeks ago and my name is not on the eta calendar, I've emailed and left a voicemail, now his mailbox is full and not accepting calls. So far I am not impressed with nates4x4. The only confirmation I ever got was from paypal that I sent money, nothing from him.
 
if patience is a virtue, Nate must assume his clients are some of the most virtuous out there-- the calendar tells me mine was done May 14th and I should allow 2-7 days for shipping.......... so far, I'm still bumperless. It'll make a nice Christmas gift when I get it and I'll have all winter 2010 to install it. I'm considering changing my order for one that fits a 2012 Grand Cherokee that I'll probably replace this Jeep with when it dies......
 
I ordered my bumper from Nates4x4 and didn't hear a word from him. I tried leaving voicemails and emails, but they both said they were full and couldn't accept any more messages. After about 3.5 weeks my bumper just showed up at the front door. Not very good customer service, but the product I ordered and paid for is here and it looks good.
 
To be honest, with all the trouble you guys are having, I don't know why you don't cancel your order and go with someone else. JCR just recently had big sale, $500 for a rear tire carrier bumper. Back to regular price now, but still only $625.

They're a sponsor and a member here and when mine took longer than I expected they responded to a PM within 24 hrs and let me know the status on everything.Great company to deal with.
 
I am trying to find out if my bumper has been started, and if it has not been started I am going to cancel the order. But with no contact the only way I know to get a refund is to file a claim through paypal.

calvynandhobbs, when did this happen? Recently?

X2 on ordering somewhere else.cheap isn't cheap if you don't have it and have to constantly chase what you ordered!
 
I cannot get a hold of nathan to get a refund, do you guys recommend I file a claim with paypal? I want my $500 back so I can get a rigidco, terry called me back within an hour and answered all my questions! Gave me a 4 weeks till build date eta, much better than no answer!

I ordered my bumper at the end of March and it arrived at the end of April so it hasn't been that long ago.
 
i got extremely lucky and was able to buy the slimline winch bumper from a guy that was selling it brand new on jeepforum. I paid $500 even and got it in 5 days (better than 3 months lol) . freakin nate wouldn't call me back! i def suggest going elsewhere, unless you can find one like i did cuz the quality of his bumpers are great! customer service, not so great lol
 
Well after emailing Nate and telling him I am going to file a claim with my credit card company(didn't pay paypal like I thought I did), I FINALLY got an answer from him. He told me my bumper should be getting shipped out this week.

Looks like you just have to hassle him to get your bumper up on the priority list, and threaten him with credit card claims and demanding a refund to get an answer.

We'll see what happens. I know I will like the bumper, but I'm not sure if I will ever order from Nates4x4 again, probably not.
 
i feel like part of a big disfunctional groop that put up with nates 4x4 so i could get a cheep bumper



if i ever do it again it will be quality service>price

well here we are over a month later and still no bumper and no answer from Nate on further emails....:smsoap:
 
Holy Christ!! This thread hurts just reading it....................... WTF do any of you do business with an asshole that has piss poor cusomer service?????? That is priority for me, NEVER will I do business with some schmuck that cant take care of his business!
 
i called and called nates ,not knowing all the others haveing problems .. never got a respose from nates so i ordered the bumper logans has .an hour after odering the logans bumper (that will be here fed ex tomorrow) nates calls me back .. um sorry i went somewhere else .. thanks for the heads up everyone..btw logans cust service was pretty good ..if they didnt answer the phone ,they called me back with in 5 mins..
