Well I spent Thanksgiving day with the LOST KJ guys (Andy came to visit from the Rasor Rd area where he was with the Waywego's and I talked him into running with us which he did) at Calico running Odessa and Doran trails.

Friday after I went with them to Stoddard Valley and we ran the Devil's Loop (High Desert Roundup Trail) afterward we parted ways so I figured I'd go visit Andy like he did the day before. Andy and Michaelle were kind enough to offer me a place to sleep in their motorhome (nicer than the back of my Jeep).

Saturday morning I talked them into coming with me across Soda Dry Lake and over to the Mojave Lava Tube. Michaelle and I went down in and looked around, very cool. Later we parted ways in Baker and I headed down Kelbaker Road across the I-40 onto National Trails highway onto Cadiz Road onto SR-62 and down Rice Road into Blythe.

The next morning I headed back up Rice/Midland Road a short distance to wander around the Ghost Town of Midland and area.

A lot of wandering in a weekend for sure but a good time none the less. Enjoy the photos. Here's three links and some to browse.

As usual, the pics look great Mike!

A slightly differnet perspective of the Mojave Road Monument:

The Mojave Road Monument from about 6 miles away.

I stopped on the northbound I-15 about a mile past Zzyzx. Just pulled off to the shoulder and got out my camera. I couldn't see what I was looking for and couldn't even see it in the viewfinder when zoomed fully in 10x. Nevertheless, I knew about where it should be so I pointed a clicked off a pic.

Both, I have many pictures of your two jeeps, but not so many of mine. And I know you have some good flex shots of me in that laptop of yours....
