Just found this website, movietimecars.com

You give them your information (name, make, model, etc.) and they contact you if there's someone who wants to use your car in their production.

Only thing that makes me leery is that they want your address...am I just advertising that I have something to steal?

Anyone have any experience with this? One guy on a Lotus forum says he did it and it was a quick buck. Someone else says the producers of "Top Gear" did a ton of damage to someone's Toyota and never paid for it...

This is what I'd be worried about. What kind of rights do you waiver? What kind of damage from camera rigging will be done? Will it be compensated? I'd ask your insurance company if it would protect your car or go to bat for you when the production company screws you.

I'm willing to bet they can find people who wont give a crap and just want to see their car on TV.
