My new XJ

total tire/wheel combo with the inner bead lock weighs 142 lbs each. im thinking the wagon wheels will be lighter...

they turned out real well... just heavy but they are cheap and hold up well

14 bolt has spring perches on now, and all other brackets cut off. now im cleaning it up, getting the shock mounts set, and getting everything painted. this things a BEOTCH to move by yourself.

and took my bumper off and cut the mounts shorter...still needs a bit more welding (this will help with approach angle):

having issues with the calipers...im leaking brake fluid where the lines go in, but other than that the rear is pretty much done. top of the hatch is around 6 an a half feet from the ground...

looks good.... and have fun sanding that desert paint off.... it was a beotch on that set of re centered h1s.... they had to be media blasted. my sandblasting cabinet laughed at me... haha

its looking good.

i need to build a set of shackle re locaters on my jeep....

eh, ill probably just scuff the paint up a bit and spray them black...not really concerned how good they look, just as long as they work. those are brianho's brackets...i got lucky during the setup, first try my shackle angle came out pretty good.

yeah we had to rid the paint so we could torch the centers out.

yeah i have contemplating just buying his brackets but ive got enough time and spare metal to build some.

 looks sweet, don't know if you noticed but you have a small scratch on your rear gate

Did you use the copper crush washers where needed on any banjo bolts and whatnot? I've gotten away without before but I think I got lucky

Also, that thing is beastly.

yep, it came with them. the brakes are for a 1975 k20 front axle...all the parts should work together fine (heck they are all new). i ordered some new an-4 90 degree fittings and some ss lines, ill give those a shot and return the factory style softlines.

done a bit more...

made some jackstands to make my life easier:

just gotta weld on the other RK mount, then its onto the front axle.

did you flip that image or is that a passenger drop axle? I'm confused because your driveline is hanging on the driver side in the other pics, unless you are swapping to pass drop and just haven't changed that over yet.

EDIT: (yeah, you probably said this earlier, maybe I should read the rest of the thread again)
