My new XJ

looks good greg!!!

i like the brick patio parking... :)

Looks nice I like what you did with your window switches

thanks man...it was pretty easy to do...course now its worthless since i wont be running doors. jig saw to cut out the shape once i removed the panel...and some 'clearancing' with an angle grinder of the plastic behind it. then a little notch for the cable off to the side.

now ill actually be removing all that wiring...i wont be needing it anymore!

ha, thanks...i got about 2 feet on either side. its not stayin there...i was just mowin the lawn and didnt feelin like makin the 5 point turn back onto the driveway (around the stupid gutter next to the carport)...so i just drove into the back yard and parked next to the house :dunno:

Ah yes that will make it a lot easier for getting the kids in and out of the jeep won't it. But then where are you going to put your ice cream truck stickers?

only when rocket pops start sponsering me...

i bet i know a guy who could make you a vinyl skin for your jeep with "rocket pops" on it... he's familiar with XJ mods too

What's different in these two pictures?

they'll be up tonight.

small bit of progress has been made...im now fully locked front/rear. a master fabricator i know welded up the spider gears in the 8.8 for me.

well here's the latest...i'd been wanting a cage for awhile, and the recent damage from golden mtn kind of sped up my plans. so i'd been in contact with Rredalty for awhile, discussing possibilities. I had 2 conditions: i wanted a roof halo that could be used to pivot off of trees, and i wanted it to be pretty stout. i dropped off the jeep in knoxville last week, and picked it up this past weekend. i think the pictures speak for themselves:
