Hello NAXJA!
Like many in the chapter, I've decided to make a blog about all my upcoming builds and report on progress of my second of two XJ's I've owned, the first being my '99 Cherokee with 3.5'' lift "Old Blue", and the newest being the awesome Green Machine with 4.5'' lift and 32's, loaded with protection, and geared with a locker in the rear.
As I bid farewell to my first Jeep I welcome more adventures in the Green Machine :yap:

On the first day:

Sure did, even all the trips away from the rocks, or the time it got caught in that duel in Arizona...
We still gotta figure out a time I'm not working to test the GM....

IllustratedXJ did a nice job on that thing! time to add your own touch to it.

Funny thing about those tires. The sidewall has a note that indicates they are unidirectional and the white letters can only be facing out.

there asemmetrical not directional.

if you check Goodyears website it clearly says they can be mounted either or..my 33s said the same on the sidewall, my 35s don't say it and also have no white walls at all. my understanding is that it was there intentions to make it directional but after funky reviews thay changed there mind but never changed the mold??? whatever the case is your ok to mount them however your heart desires.

I've already added some Pioneer speakers, they sound much better than stock.
I also took off the rear sway bar IllustratedXJ left on, I'll have to add some more pics soon

Here's the uninstall of the sway bar:

I need a new exhaust next

Heres a little project that I did on Old Blue, but still need to do on the Green Machine. It's a simple bypass switch that kills the annoying beeping noise you get when you leave the keys in the ignition with the door open or lights on.

The main 3 wire connector was found under the kick panel and side panel the hood latch is molded in with.

If you disconnect all three wires the interior dome lights will not work when you open the driver's door, so only the middle wire needs to be cut.

And here it is all hot glued on and ready to do some switchin'. It may be completely pointless but its neat to have little mods like this that work. Just don't forget your keys or lights when the beep is off!

I heard Prairie City won't reopen for use until October unfortunately..., we'll need to find another wheeling spot

Rattlesnake bar at Folsom lake has some cool places to cruise around. gotta catch it before the water comes up though. the rangers don't mind you cruising around, just no tearing up the grass or mud pits, they really don't like that. but to put it an 4low and put around is just fine. its better then nothing! i usually hit Folsom for testing and toss a line in the water.
