My future tow rig [and house]

For they guy who just CAN NOT make up his mind which one of his toys he has to leave behind when he goes on vacation,...
 
When I have ten grand to blow on a vehicle it's gonna be an M35A2 or M35A3. I've been saying this for at least two years now... I wonder how much longer it'll be.

If you are a breathing human being you don't need that rig..... but doesn't mean that it wouldn't be badass :D The more I think about it the more I would rather build a trailer/tent out of spare XJ/MJ parts... but the full camper luxury would be nice for a while from time to time; i.e. would be nice for a wheeling trip from the east coast to the west coast.

But there is a reason I included [and house] in the subject. If I was going to own something like that it would be my house. I would have no property of my own. I would just drive around and park where I could. Where-ever I parked I would go wheeling and work for a while. I wish I could move around that much, but sadly my work won't let me :(

When I married the current Wife we had a dream of retiring, selling the house, buying a sensible motor home and towing a jeep around the country until we just got too damn old to do it.

After a couple of years my Wife asked me what we would do with all of our stuff. I said we should sell everything.

After a couple more years my Wife told me selling everything wouldn't do, because there are certain things she wants to give to our kids and grand kids. I said fine, we will give them those things and then take off in the motor home.

After a couple MORE years my Wife informed me that giving the kids and grand kids those things she wants them to have wouldn't do. I said why not? She said it was because she wouldn't be able to see those things without having to ask, and she was also concerned that they would not treat them well or sell/give them away.

After a couple MORE years I decided that I wasn't going to have my way, that we would never sell the house or ever give anything away, and that it would be best if my Wife and I never talk about this subject again.

I am still happily married.

That's why I am very picky with my lady friends :)

I know I will probably end up in the same situation as you though. Right now I am saving up to buy a house, though I do still spend money on the Jeep plenty often. I am building my toy before I get involved in another relationship. If I get into a relationship now the woman will understand that the Jeep is my toy and my way of having fun. Sounds like you found that woman (one that understands and agrees with your passions). I hope I get lucky and find one like that as well... but I will still keep holding out that I marry some rich chick whose father will buy me that rig so I can tour the country with my Jeep :D
 
This truck is a complete piece of shit. I would never even consider a truck that did not have whale penis leather.

Man, I've been around the world, one war and several shooting incidents, I have been to countless county fairs, and I even saw a real dog and pony show once at the circus, but "whale penis leather", that is a new one to me! :scared:

soft, smooth and you can do a whole 3 seater couch without a single seam. :D

Hell, considering how small that bathroom looks, you'd almost have to be hung like a bull gerbil to be able to walk into the bathroom and use it:wow:
