Kinda new to the site, been lurkin for a while finally just got my membership. Wanted to say hello and thankyou for all the awesome tech info. Heres a pic of my 2000, not my first cherokee but def the nicest. Sorry its a poser shot but I still havent gotten the front axle finished so no 4wheel. This was taken just before the tnt kit/springs were put on so theres alot more room for the back tires now.

Wow! And you guys said I had wide tires! Which axles are you planning on running? Looks to be an 8.25 from here. Can't see the front...but the steering looks very stock. I could be wrong, I have been before. Many times.

You should post a current picture!

Looks like a great start! Hurry up and get out there!

Welcome home. :) You'll enjoy it. Becareful. It's very addictive.

btw, nice car... one day I'll have one! For now the ole Legacy will have to do.

Nice XJ! What axles are you running? 37s are brutal. I love the rex too.

8.25/30, i've heard some good things about the 8.25 plus I already have over a grand in it so it will stay, I haven't decided on the front i've been tossin around the idea of doing a super 30 or just start with a nice 44.

Bought it off a lot owner said some kid owned it before, he had no idea what was on the truck. It had rustys stickers all over the control arms, drove it until it basically almost got me killed and I decided a suspension upgrade was a necessity. As far as steering im pretty sure its rustys as well so that will be the next thing to get replaced. Im very impressed with tnts products so most of my odering will be through them.

Thanks the scooby is the real money pit lol. I already went through the stock tranny :explosion, its putting down around 420 to the wheels :greensmok. I'll try and get some recent pics up when I get a break from work.

I wouldn't trust either axle with 37s.

The 37's have been on for a year now, no problems yet. Granted It does get driven more on the street than wheeled but I've done my fair share of beating on it on the trails and everything is fine :dunno: .

My brothers girlfriends sisters uncle runs 38s on his lp30 and has never broke, and he wheels hard!

37's on a 44 will be decent... do it.

Thanks for the compliments, nice bug eye im guessing thats your old one? If so kuddos, that thing is sweet.

Got rid of some rust today thanks to the cut and fold method, still havent sanded/painted but the hard part is done.

Just thought i'd let you know that you're missing a window...

Your cut and fold looks good. I'll be doing the same in the near future...

Also, a wider tire would provide you with better traction. Maybe a 37x30.50R15... Just a thought :)

He could swap a D35 in as well!

I think a front driveshaft would help even more.
