Music?

I'm asking for music in a similar vain to Valley Road. RR and Vital remains aren't similar to bruce either, but those posts were also before I cleared up that I was looking for things similar to valley road.

Check again, Rick Ross wasn't. But it's your thread so your the boss.

I'll just keep listening to my tunes:woohoo:

Yep, you're right. My bad. It isn't that I don't like those bands, I listened to the decemberists for a while. I'm just in a country/bluegrass phase right now.

You're a bad person. :explosion
He listens to crazy 80's rap, actually. (he's black and from VA)
Dr. Octagon is the only example I can think of right now.

Dr Octagon is a bad mofo. he's up there with Del the funky homosapien :D

the remix of doc oc's "blue flowers" by Dan the Automater is a nice track if you're into lyricists

Alright then. Here is one of my all time favorite bands (and they started playing right across the river from me) The Mammals. Also if your into more of a bluegrass mode one of my other favorites is the Yonder Mountain String Band.

I understand they are no Rick Ross, or Job For a Cowboy... but you win some and you lose some.

Download Pandora Radio and load in your band. It will then start suggesting bands of a similar vein. It's a great way to find bands that are new to you. http://www.pandora.com/

And yes you can load in anything from classical to death metal and get good feeds.

I use Pandora all the time, the problem is that Valley road isn't like alot of his other stuff, it was more of a one time thing. So I get music that's like what Bruce Hornsby usually is, which is slow bluesy bluegrass rather than the fast pace pure awesome that comes from valley road. There are even different versions of valley road, the majority of them are alot slower.
