Moving to Nashville, TN

Hey guys I will be moving to Nashville, TN in about 2 weeks. I am looking for a local Jeep Club to join or be involved with. I am very involved with Mid Carolina Jeepers here in Columbia, SC. If someone could point me in the right direction that would be great. I will coming to Nashville blind not knowing a soul. Thanks, John
 
I'm sure Ed and some of the others from TN will chime in. There is almost a TN chapter here now days that are sooo many NAXJA guys there. You need to try and come up to the crawl this summer if you have the 4th off. Bring the whole family we do family events. All mine are supose to be there as are others.
 
What part of Nashville?

We have a great bunch of guys here and they are several clubs in the area. There are also lots of places to go riding just a short distance from Nashville.

The Middle TN Trailrunners are still around and meet out of Manchester. A lot of Nashville guys were part of that club.

TOR and Essentially Offroad are also just outside Nashville and might get you some leads on guys to ride with.

Of course you could ride with the SEC bunch. Seems like there is always something going on in middle TN.
 
Yes. The SEC is a good bunch to ride with.
 
I dont know exactly where I am going to be living. The company that hired me is putting me up for a few weeks until I found a place to live. Any suggestions where to go??? I am looking to get an apartment.
 
They will be tight right now as there are so many families displaced by the flooding.

Go to News Channel 5's website. They just ran a story on how to find apartments in Nashville. They should have a link to the website they recommended. I can't remember what the name of it was.

You might also look around in Murfreesboro, Smyrna or LaVergne if you are working on the southeast side of Nashville.

Is Mcminville too far? Or are you looking for something in Nashville. I'm not that familure with that part of TN, but we have an office there and the guy that runs it is an old friend. If you need me to give him a call just let me know.
 
That might too far. I will be working off of Murfreesboro Rd in Nashville. Ill probably look around Lavergne or Smyrna. I lived in Franklin when I was a kid but I dont remember a thing about it.

I'm in Antioch, if you're fluent in spanish my neighborhood is pretty cheap. You could probably find something cool off of Anderson Rd with a little shopping.
 
welcome to the crowd! Theres a couple of us up in clarksville as well. try looking just north of nashville too. theres some nice places a lil out in the country you could probably get for a decent price if you didnt mind a small commute.
 
I bought my home in Antioch 2 years ago and for the most part it's been good. I'm getting use to being a minority, but still haven't had to learn spanish. There are a couple of us in the Antioch area, a few in murfreesboro, and many more spread all around. Welcome to the area and let us know if you need anything.
 
Thanks guys. I will look in those areas. I will be in an extended stay for a couple of weeks so i will have time to drive around. I will be ready to join a club soon and get involved!!! I cant go too long without a Jeep community. Lol!

i was supposed to get a 2 year contract in Nashville.. i hope to get it after this 2.5 month contract expires..
so nashville might have Avon to grace the city.. lol
