mopar parts

I've seen a lot of you guys/gals mention using mopar parts (gas tank skid, transfer case skid, roof rack tire mount, ect.). Is there a website for this stuff, or do you get it at the Jeep parts counter, or what? And is it worth using? Thanks ahead of time.

The Mopar parts site I think is http://www.mopar.com and should have most of the usual maintenance parts for an XJ. It's probably just as easy to go to the parts counter.

Keep in mind that parts from the dealer will be a little more expensive than at the local parts store, but it seems to be good stuff.

However, anything considered an accessory (including skid plates) is discontinued, and is probably not available any more, unless you get really lucky. Once the Liberty came out, they liquidated as much XJ-specific stuff as they could at fire-sale prices.
