"Hi, My name is George, I'm unemployed, bald, and live at home with my Parents."

Or...

"LOUD NOISES!!!!!!!!!"

Im sure all of you know where both of those quotes come from...

Somehow I don't think posting for Hobo has quite the same draw as poking fun at the villiage idiot. Those threads didn't slow down for weeks.

True - but you get tired of the "villiage idiot" after a while...

Speaking of villiage idiots - has anyone else caught the Monty Python "Villiage Idiot" skit? John Cleese played the idiot being interviewed - actually highly intelligent, he was talking about the important societal and socio-psychological functions of the villiage idiot... Haven't seen it in a while, but I honestly think it was one of their better skits...

Oh - and I just put up some notes on the Peugeot to AX-15 swap - posts in public fora count, right?

As may be, but the chart reflects a serious impediment to the task at hand.

What really cracks me up about that skit is, every time a villager would walk by he would 'play' the village idiot and then go right back to the high-brow sociology discussion.

LMAO every time :laugh2:

That was the beauty of it - the dichotomy of the character that John Cleese played...

Can I just cut-n-paste my Monty Python thread. It would add a few posts - plus it was a lot of fun.

What do you think?

Discuss.

That skit actually has a Shakespeare-ian foundation. Bill was the first playwrite to use an intellegent 'clown' character.

next, you're going to ask me for details
