I'm gonna have to agree with Mike.. PA and NY are already in in the NAC and the MidWest well... isn't that far east..PA...possibly.... but then they would be represented three times...

That sounds like the Dumpster Chapter to me. FF and I already talked about one of those.

I don't want those states. I can visit PA in 45 minutes but they have a hepititis out break and I'm staying clear of that state for now.

I have been doing this stuff for years. I would be right at home since no one wants to join the Oklahoma Chapter.

I really do not have an opinion as to whether or not a Chapter is beneficial ... I'm new to and am not versed of the structure of the organization and how it all works together.

IMHO, I really can give a rats rear about pomp-and-circumstance crap, and, by reading posts in this forum, it would be interesting to watch some of you guys dress in costume and read mumbo-jumbo from some handbook.

Seriously though ... I think most members have joined to hopefully get together, develop driving skills, and have FUN wheelin'. I also think most have joined to learn about how to set up their rig so they can do more with it. That's why I have joined anyway ...

If forming a Midwest Chapter will help to accomplish this, I think it is worth doing and I would be willing to help form the group and be active in it (well as much as I could financally afford to do ... I'm not as rich as a lot of you "city boys").

I think we all agree that a MidWest chapter will bring the ers in this area closer together, but not seperate from itself. At least thats how I want it to work.
We now to figured out the "are" that we would consider MidWest.

You gotta be kiddin' me , an Okie join a Texass chapter or club or even a knitting bee would be sacreligious. Don't you folks know anything. The only time a true okie does anything with a Texin, is when we go down there for their yearly arse whoopin:twak: by the Sooners in the Red River Shootout at the Cotton Bowl. If anything, they should be tryin' to join an Oklahoma chapter, even if there's only two of us (buckyxj and me).

OK enough talk about it lets get it started. Anyone interested in a Midwest/Great Lakes/ Heartland chapter, let's go. I have talked to a few people that say they want it and willing to start it. Only those serious about it need to respond. Let's say OH,IN,IL,MI,MO,WI,MN,and IA members for now and see where the interest is. Go here and let's see who's interested.
