Metal in Denver

I'm looking for a good resource for metal here in Denver. Been getting the run around with minimum orders and such. We need tubing for long arms and cages and some plate for fabricating bumpers. Anyone recommend a scrap yard for odds and ends? As long as I'm getting metal I just as well get a new top for my welding table.

Check out K&K Surplus in Commerce City. Well worth checking them out. I usually pay less than half what the regular yards charge. I just picked up some 2x6x.25 for $5 a foot.

Hmmmm...... I'll have to check out K&K, never heard of 'em. I use DenCol on Washington just north of I-70 and just west of the Stock Show Complex. They've always treated me great when I only need small stuff.

Just went this afternoon. 303-287-7195. They don't list a web site on their business card. The 1.875x1.313 dom was $9.75 a foot and the surplus metal is $.40 / lb.

Surplus price is good, the DOM price is high, but if you only bought a small quantity it is a fair price.

I always use EMJ (Earle Jorgensen) for tube. I use CO Iron and Metal for small quantities of plate and tube.

I have over 2 tons of tube in stock so anyone looking for small quantities can buy direct from me.
