Meet n Greet at Brown county state park in Indiana

Is this going to be a all jeep run? My MJ is not exactly street leagal or road worthy. I could drive the Wife's YJ if you promise not to throw rocks at me.

Vlad would have to drive his TJ because his Junk ain't legal either.

looks like it is comeing together for june 22nd meet up somewhere in brown county (raistlinalpha) can you find us a good staging spot? :moon: and i think we should make this a pants optional  :peace:

now we need a cool name, like Nash-fest, or the Brown eye derby, just some suggestions,

please feel free to ignore my crude attempts at humor and look only at the real and substantive portions of this post[/QUOTE/]
Guys Please excuse Stuntman Mot his mother droped him on his head when he was a child.

Rasin Bran how about the raw hide ranch as a staging spot?

Are we going to we going to go on a road run through the park or some of the scenic roads around Nashville?

:sure: Alright, I'm lost. Someone please explain exactly where this thing is going to be held.

still hammering it out.

the facts so far:

meet and greet in Nashville, Indiana

june 22nd

still debating whether this is just going to be a wheeling event, or just come down to nashville and hangout event.

rastlinalpha runs a horse ranch nearby and is trying to work some things with brown county tourism board and with some of his neighbors to possibly turn this into a wheeling event in the future, but we have to behave ourselves and not mess up the town with our dirty rigs. there is a regular cruise-in type of thing that happens at the same time. we may or may not join in with this.

we still have a lot of unanswered ?'s at this point

I'm out for a Nashville shin-dig. Too far for me.
Still may be a RedBird trip later this summer.....stay tuned.

A jeep is a Jeep bring it my roommate will probably be there with his large TJ anyways. Didn't think this would become a popular thread

That's why it should be at Redbird so people can fawking wheel instead of sit on a curb all day.

Flex its not that its 25 minutes away, its the fact that this wont cost $100.00 to get to!!

This could be a chance to bring the lady friends, since there is plenty for them to do in the shops while us guys hang out with the jeeps

ok, looks like we are going with a non wheeling meet and greet, at bron county state park, possibly cruise over to nasville later in the day to get some grub. i know some ppl want to do a wheeling event at redbird, but for this date, i think we are just gonna get together and hang out for a while. i hope to see some ppl there and get to know some more fellow NAXJA'ers.

right on i am looking forwad to meeting up with you guys. We do need to plan a wheeling trip somewhere though. I have to drive mine back from wherever we go so I would say redbird or Badlands. Haspin may f*** it up

i think several of us will be going to redbird on at least one occasion this summer, and it would be great to try to get a bunch of NAXJA 'rs there together, but we are trying to do a meet n greet at nashville on this date. just remember that redbird requires a vehicle to be registered (it needs a plate on it) to go there.

I about have this planned out. I need one answer from you guys. Do you guys want to pay to get into the Brown County Park?

If you guys do not want to pay, then we will meet at my ranch (Rawhide Ranch) at a time to be determined. Then do a road cruise through the back roads of the county (route to be determined soon) and end up in downtown Nashville for the Cruise-in. Hang out and shoot the crap, give the ladies a chance to go shop and spend our upgrade money. Once we feel we have hung out enough, we can all head out to a pub and get a drink.

Anyone attending will be able to leave at anytime and our different destinations will be posted before event so that if you are late, you can catch up.

This will be a simple meet and greet in which all jeeps are welcome as long as a rider is a NAXJA member. We don't want you to not show due to your rig not being street legal.

As mentioned before, I am working with a land owner in Brown County that is interested in creating a trail that will host one event a year in June or July (this could be an overnight event as well). We are hoping that next year around the same time, this will be a wheeling event and not just a meet and greet. I don't want to sound like a (can't think of a good comparison), but keep in mind that this will be the first introduction this town will have to a jeep club. If we create problems, then we can kiss the future jeep relations with Brown County good bye.

Eventually I will need a jeep count. I will be asking for that late May.

So, who wants to pay for the park?

right on man thanks for the help with my idea. I am down to pay to get into the park but if everyone doesn't wanna pay we could cruise the backroads too. I look forward to meeting all of you.

yeah nashville is a nice quiet little town so no gun-slinging rebel-flag wavin stupid hillbilly crap. after all we don't wanna fit in with the locals hahaha.hey you can't make fun of someone unless you are one and I are one.:patriot:
