MARK YOUR CALENDAR!! Winterfest 2012 March 2-4

Rig will be up around 4.5-5in by then, but still 31s and open/open... Someone have a used locker for like $75? ;)

also hoping to be locked by then :D

I will bring my welder...we can lock shit all day long.

did I mention I also sell spare axle shafts and spider gears at a reasonable price? :D

Just checked Google Maps, Badlands is 26 miles away... suppose I can make it again this year. :D Hell I'd walk there just for the campfire!

I'll lend any help I can, tech inspections or whatever else needs to be done. Maybe even some short term parking for broken rigs, there's practically a parking lot in my yard anyway so a few more vehicles won't hurt...

I'll bring my welder and extension cable if people really think we'll need one.

I just got tired of bringing it along and never using it.

I, er HoBag, had to use one on my junk in 09, last year there was need for one too, ummm, on my junk I think, but there was no welder. The guy up town gets good money to weld.

I can bring mine if needed, but if Cheeseboy is bringing one...

I can bring one. I was going to last year but Kim said he would have his there so I did not pack mine up. My labor rate is $1 less then the guy in town :D

We can make sure there's a welder on site for next year.

87 'takes a uhaul wheeling' manche

lets start a pot on the "over under" on those who say they are and those who do...I have brought one every year except last year...but I am thinking that I am going to look up some welder receipes for cooking food from a welder, and if there are good ones, I will def have mine in tow :D

Josh, you should have another package arriving in the coming weeks, it is with Camilles mom to be shipped in the next few days.

I'll be drinking at WF. That's the one thing I can guarantee.

For all the people saying they will run MI... Run the big rocks behind Troy's house before you claim, been there and done that. Ive seen 30 rigs run that trail and only 4 actually did the entire trail.

Cant hardly wait!

A trail has a start and a finish. I don't think that the rocks behind the house are something you have to do to say you drove that trail. If you started at one end and ended up at the top of the hill climb at the other, then that's good enough for me.

Not any different than bypassing the big rock on lower 2 at tellico. You still started at the bottom and ended up at the top.

My comment is more driven by the prestige that people put into saying they have run MI. People usually say it with the tone that they have run the most hardcore trail in Indiana. When in reality they have only seen one of the most bapass trails in Indiana.

I have full intentions of running every bypass on the trail, and not only that, but I will have stickers made to plaster my rig with after we are done that say "I ran MI" :D
