So my front towpoint is d ring tabsthat are just my bumper mounts extended past the bumper they are 3/8" with another 1/4" "welded" to it for thickness. Is that suffice?

No its like 12 bolts lol. The 3 bumpers and steering box and one more past that.

Ya know for a second there i thought i was going to get away without getting any flack for that . Ha!

I Should have known better

Yea..... now that i think about it it should have been common sense..

Thats how they sold me on the synthetic though , i supposedly didn't have to worry about it whipping back and ripping a limb off if it broke . (or whatever it would do)..

Or at least thats what i was told

Well that and i was allways thinking id catch a wire and tear my hand open (with gloves) when i had the steel

I have synthetic on my winch too, they say that it does not whip back like cable, but on a strong pull it's always better to be safe than sorry.

I have seen, first hand, synth line snap. It is not even close to steel, but safety never hurts.

I have seen my own synthetic break, it does infact, snap back........
