MARK YOUR CALENDAR!! Winterfest 2012 March 2-4

Might just have to bring the new stocker to WF this year....................NAHHHHHHHHHHHH, unless my brother wants to drive it. I'd love to get him out wheeling.

You will love having selectable lockers. It's really nice when you have to do those multi-point turns and you turn off both ends.

I run the front open all the time unless I need it in some mud or on the obstacle. Makes turning the 35's easier.

LOL!

I read the psssh psssh and I thought of a certain person at the 09 Winterfest who showed up in a grand C. He would disengage and then engage them every time he did an obstical just so everyone knew he had arb's. Even little ones. :D

That's a name I haven't heard in awhile, I will have to give him a call and see if he is going to show up to winterfest this year. :firedevil

gonna put a disc brake set up on the Sterling. It is not the perfect rear axle, but I already have it and it is a simple $250 upgrade and a solid enough axle for my dainty pink slippers.

Who are you getting the disc kit from, and does it have calipers too or just the brackets? Bolt on or weld on? I hate drums so very much and now that I've got an old Ferd I'd like to convert it to disc.

RuffStuff has the brackets that are bolt on for $50. You use 73-87 3/4 ton chevy calipers and rotors off a 96 E350 SRW van. All the part numbers/info is on RuffStuff's webpage under the tab for the Sterling disk brake brackets.

Hrmm, says 84-94, mine's a 97, looks like I'd need to make the spacer they are talking about. I might mess with it some more before ditching the drums, I bled everything and have a spongy pedal but I was unaware of the rear ABS module that has its own bleed screw.

Bookmarked for future reference, thanks guys!

Back on topic...

Well asshats. You will get the pleasure of my attendance, though I think my chili and girlfriend are what people really look forward to.

Also wanted to note that I will offer up my services to help how the HMFICs see fit...aside from the obvious things you know I won't do.......for free.:D

Glad to hear it bro, glad you are bringing the spicy dish(s) with ya! :D
