Seems to me that some folks just don't get it........so I'll spell it out in simple terms.
When I "procured" the plate from JohnJohn's rig roughly 18 months ago, my initial intentions were to wait till he squealed loudly, perhaps hold it for BOR gear ransom, then return it unharmed to it's rightful owner.
On my drive home from Moab following the plate-napping, a sketchy plan was conceived to send the plate around the country to fellow XJer's that would be willing to post up unique and interesting shots of the plate on

for all to enjoy, a tour of all 50 states.....NO!...... the World!!
So off it went, globetrotting to strange and unusual, sometimes exotic destinations and interest in the tour grew, larger than I could have imagined. The LUVMYJP Plate World Tour thread currently has over 33,400 hits, more than any

Non-Tech thread to date. I get PM's almost daily from folks that want to be a part of the tour and I've tried to juggle it's travel schedule to keep it interesting as well as keep folks guessing as to where it will show up next.
The reality is, it's up to the participants to keep the tour interesting by posting up unique photos of the plate and by keeping it moving to the next destination in a timely manner. Bottom line is.....if the plate sits gathering dust and no unique or imaginative photo's are posted, the tour becomes LAME.
Which brings us to now.
During Winterfest, the plate fell victim to a copy-cat napping, which in and of itself, shows little imagination. Not so much as a ransom note, blindfolded captor or video tape of the plate has been posted up since. Add this to the fact that for 2 months prior, it was stalled in Yawnsville. I can only assume that it's now in MWC-ville, an area often recognized for it's large talkers and small walkers.
So, we're at a crossroads. The plate tour can die an untimely death from boredom and indifference, or it can be elevated to a new level of adventure, excitement and intrigue.
Time to step up folks.....or just nail the plate to the garage wall and call the tour done.
