My work schedule was changed last minute... it sucks!! I had the whole trip planned out, accomodation booked and all, ,but in the end, had to pull the plug.

My wife and kid are both in school
My jeep still needs a new t-case chain
My jeep still needs to have the boatsides finished
and the big killer, The tranny in my truck crapped out on thursday. I spent the weekend replacing the pump and TC only to have something else in the tranny go bad after I got it all back in. So now its gotta come back out and I'm going to rebuild it...

I broke my arm...and wasnt able to get my xj runnin in time. cant work on oil leaks and gears with one arm.

I had to bail also after drawing a very hard to get bull elk tag in a honey hole of an area. The average time between draws for bulls in this area is 6-7 years, so there was no way I could pass it up. As much as I wanted to make Moab, it's just not gonna happen this year. :dunno:

You call 6-7 years hard? I finally drew on an elk tag I have been putting in for 14 years for! The hunt does not conflict with Moab but the money sure does.

The worst part is that ILLXJ is going. I work with him. He will return with pics and stories that I'll have to listen to.

That's nothing.

My buddy Rainer is going (actually on his way now) and I'm going to have to hear his stories and worse, look at his pictures of him wheeling my Jeep in Moab!

All while I sit here at work because my boss is being too much of a bitch to let me work from home.

You need to make it though Redbird.....unassisted.....before you attempt Moab there skippy.....
