that's funny cuz i was lookin at an xj on craigslist that was red,6.5 lift, 5 speed, and that rugged ridge steering.
awesome rig though

Due to my current living situation I was going to sell it but things worked out so im not screwed yet. Anyways I have done quite a bit more to it since then like ax-15 swap, bumper, disconnects, and tires. I also fixed the couple issues I mentioned in craigslist post. but its still for sale if the price is right.

i really thought I hated it before but I did some work dialin in my castor and adding spacers to it and now it drives real well on road and flexes fine. Only thing I dont like is angle at pitman arm is a little steep. Having no garage and being hassled by my apartment complex has made getting this thing done HELL!

My Jeep is a little less impressive than the ones above, but I've been chipping away at its stock appearance. Goodies to come, but here she sits:

She's a 99 Auto with 140k On the Clock. It was an impulse purchase, the lot you see the photos of in the background is my families place. This was a nice trade in for very cheap and I thought to myself, "it rains too much here, maybe I should just go run things over when the weather sucks?"

Work So Far:
Garage job Black Wheels with new ATRs
Big Shovel
Intake
Complete Tune Up and Fluid Flush
Yakima Rack for my Surfboards
Quick Discos and Skids to Come
Front Tow Hooks and Rear Hitch/Tow System going in Tomorrow

Best Mod:
My Custom random License Plate

This NAXJA forum has been helpful every day I've owned the Jeep, see you guys out on the (easy) trails.

Haha damn you and your plate...mine is ###-XXT, I was close...

Hello,

Ive been here for a little while so it's about time. My wife, and our 9-month old daughter took a trip to Walker Valley. This was the first trip with the Jeep after TnT long arms, weld in rockrails, and a Ford 8.8. This is my first time driving with lockers front and rear and all I can say is Damm! I should have done this a long time ago.

Here's our Daughter:

Oops, I should have trimmed and installed bumpstops. I made a phone call to the DNR while at Rogers and they told me to go around the gate. That is until we found our way to the rest of the park.

I'm looking forward to the noobfest, if there is one.

OK, I have been lurking here for quite some time. I use to be on here a long time ago when I had my 98 XJ and then I went to a TJ and now I have an 87 MJ:

It's still a long way from getting done with not a lot of time to finsh it.

Biggest hurdle is finding a power steering pump and res for a 2.5L which is proving to be tough to find.
