Honestly, I'd find a decent '87 or '88 4.0/231/AW4 for $1000 and start from scratch. You're already underwater on the '84 and it's only going to get worse. The body is the only thing worth salvaging.jeepnleo said:yeah i know it isnt the best. i plan on getting a new transfer case np231 probably.
