Here's my XXXJ I just bought and built.. no bumpers or sliders yet...friday for those.
..the maiden voyage this past weekend (aug 30,31,1).. Specs
Rear D44: Cut and turned rear perches, ZJ discs, 3.73, Aussie Locker, Blue Torch Fab Diff Cover, Ubolt Ujoint retention yoke.

Advanced Adapters 1310 SYE- Identical front and rear driveshafts!
6 inch RE lift
BTF front diff cover
Rubicon Express front track bar
Vac Disco front D30 with cable engagement system
32X9.50 TSLs.

Upcoming - Front locker (tomorrow), Rock Hard (https://www.rockhard4x4parts.com/) sliders and bumpers (friday/this weekend..if they arrive tomorrow..)

Your jeep looks good but that is not the best combination of parts to start a build with.
 
yeah i know it isnt the best. i plan on getting a new transfer case np231 probably.
then i will swap engines to a 3.4l v-6 since it is a strait swap.

i would love D44s.

it only cost 500 so why not.

Honestly, I'd find a decent '87 or '88 4.0/231/AW4 for $1000 and start from scratch. You're already underwater on the '84 and it's only going to get worse. The body is the only thing worth salvaging.

k so since i havent really showed off my rig much and i reacently ditched my 235s for 33s on 5" susp. i thought i should let yall see it so you can recognize me mobbin around town. as if the antenna dont give it away already. hehe.

easaly recognizeable by the antenna. always listening either on 17 or home is 20. unless of course im not near my house or my Jeep.
