Only good for dry days, but I'll be having some interesting Video from it. This can be mounted any which way on just about any rock rails / Roof rack Bull Bar / Swing out etc...
I just made the thing so... Sure yes I will have to be a little more cautious with that on the side... I think the vibes will be minimal as I have a thick rubber gasket under the camera ...and Crawling slowly should be ok.
I guess I'll find out after some test runs... Only did street with it so far.
That's pretty pimp - I didn't see the rubber gasket under the camera. I'll be pretty interested to see what the video looks like! What do you use to import/process it?
mmm, I plan to keep an eye on it when its there... If I get into tight spots I'll move it to the Bumper or roof rack or just on the side of the trail with a Tripod.
GREAT idea and awesome little video. I can't wait to see what things look like with the camera mounted on the front bumper ..... we'll finally get to see what our Jeeps see!
I like it! Any thought of using a mirror mounted on the rail and putting the actual camera elsewhere? Though that would limit your field of view if the camera is more than a few inches away - say, inside the rear door.
