I won't be able to make it, have fun and pound a few cold ones for me!
Don't worry Mr. Ed. I've got the drinking part covered. I may help wrench a little too.

I want to say thanks to everyone who showed up and helped out. I was very impressed at how smoothly things went. I think we installed the springs, shocks, discos, stock skid (needed some drilling and tapping), and relocated the front brake lines in about 4 hours. I seriously appreciate the help and Tim for hosting the party. Having all the right tools makes things so much easier! I aspire to have a garage like Tim's someday.
The ride is great and I didn't have any strange noises or vibrations on the way home. I'll be giving it a freeway test on my drive to Redwood City today.
I'll remeasure the lift and see if it has leveled out at all because it was sitting at ~2" in the rear and 3" in the front when we first set it back on it's tires. I am thinking some MJ shackles will solve that though. And of course, I'll have to post some pictures of the lift.
Thanks again to everyone who came out!
Pics or it didnt happen![]()
@Josh -- Did you guys get the cam position sensor replaced after I took off on Saturday? Did it resolve your issues? I hope you got it running better before you left that day.
The CPS changed out pretty easily, unfortunately after I reset the ECU it started running even worse. I had to limp it home on city streets and it wants to stall unless I floor it or let it idle - from 5% throttle to 90% throttle it just wants to die. I'm hoping that it is the camshaft sensor in the distributor (note: called the pick-up coil in all the auto parts stores). I got code P1391 which is either the crank sensor or the cam sensor. Unfortunately the cam sensor is a hard-to-find part and I had to order it online. Hope it shows up soon - it is basically un-drivable right now.
Glad that your lift and poomero's issues were solved pretty easily.
