I realize a sticky keeps it at the top of the page, but I don't usually look up there. I actually had to look to find this thread after it got moved to sticky. Is it possible that it will get less exposure up there? I'm probably not the only one that just pops in and looks for new threads without seeing the sticky. What do you guys think?

They usually catch my eye right away.

:dunno: I figured being in non-tech, it'd have to get quite alot of bumps to hover at the top of the page. This way, it stays above everything for everyone to see. Also, once you've seen it once, that's all that's needed, really... You see it, you vote, all set! The key is getting more people to see it. I think the odds of that are much higher if this is at the top of the stack as opposed to tumbling in the mix of endless non-tech posts/threads. I think more new/fresh people are likely to see this thread with it stickied, as opposed to it potentially being on the 2nd or even 3rd page.
