would u benifit from moving the leaf springs more to the center of the axle maybe 4 to 6 inches on each side. i was thinking about how i wanted to do my rear end and thought this would allow for great flex.

the jeep isnt going to be used on road its sticktly for offroad. wat other ways can u create more flex. i dont have alot of money to work with thats why i thougth moveing the leaf springs would be good.

later down the road ill probabally do coils in the rear. im still not quite finished with the front. (wating on heim misalignments for the trac bar and redoing the crossmember) the dodge is my first truck i ever had since i was 16, im now 18. its 2wd but it also has tubular upper and lower a arms, 4.88 gears and a lockrite locker, pretty damn fast for a 5.2 liter and 35s.

It's a bad idea. After doing this for many years, I put stabilty ahead of excessive flex. When you're on the trail, rarely is a rig with more flex able to do more than a rig with less flex, but many times a rig with more stabilty is able to do something that a rig with less stability can't. Moving the springs inboard will decrese stabilty dramatically, some have tried it and they changed back. It's not that difficult to get good flex out of leaf springs, it's done all the time.
