It actually IS spring assist, and would be a fantastic EDC from what I'm seeing. Relatively light.

Kershaw makes great knives. I carry one right meow and its awesome. not that one in the link tho. But for that price an amazing deal.

I haven't seen that one no, but they are excellent knives. good quality steel in the blade, and yes it is spring assisted opening.not switchblade status but they open with a very light flick of the finger.

I know they are great knifes. I have had several of their knifes. I bought one off the Snap-On truck and another that was almost identical at Big 5. The Big 5 knife sucked. Wouldn't hold an edge, screws always came out. One from Sanp On is still going strong, on its second owner. I just wonder if their
"cheaper" knifes are really that good.

This is the one that lives in my pocket. It's called the Half Ton. The thing is a brute. I try and take care of my knives but tend to be a bit rough on them. This thing has taken everything I've thrown at it without fail.

And for the price, I have 3 of them and have given away another 3 as presents.

Yeah, I used to EDC a kershaw tanto blurr, but now I EDC a woot special compound. That thing is a workhorse for being $15. I already used it to slice through a 5.9 magnum harness at the junkyard (near the ecu none the less) and it still has a nice edge on it.
