Karma 2010!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I could use a front skid!

Wonder if anyone is going up to LA soon. I can meet someone anywhere in the clairemont/el cajon area.
As I'd said, I'll be up there at some point in the next few weeks if you can wait. I'm probably getting the whatsis from Hellbent Justin to take to GrimmJeeper Mike, and have to pick up a rim near Grimm (all west-ish LA area) & drop off a worklight off the 91, and have stuff for Cracker & Cal off the I-10/605.

I also have stuff to take to Temecula on my way to Menifee on the 30th. I may try to arrange a trip towards Anaheim/LA this weekend, or may tie it into the Menifee thing on the 30th...I am really glad I finally got new tires on my Mitsu!!

Anyone else need to jump on this railroad? If it'll fit in a Mitsu Mirage (so no, no axles!!) & "sometime in the next few weeks" works, let me know.

BTW, Brian, the BBQ works great--we made carne asada on it out in Truckhaven this weekend. Perfect!!

Hi Carol, firstly I'm glad the BBQ is being used! VERY cool. It was always a great cooker for us.

As for the skid, I'm in no hurry, so anytime in the next few weeks/month...would be great. thanks!

I've entered it into my train schedule. Can you get me xcm's address & phone #, and make sure he holds one for you?

So Apparently there is Karma:

Yesterday it was raining and the gate to the parking lot at work wasn't working. I parked on the street and paid for one hour of meter parking. Naturally I forgot, and 8 hours later, I left work and was EXTREMELY surprised that there was no parking ticket!
All day in Santa Monica, where the parking people are like Gestapo....no ticket.

So Karma is out there!

Anyways:
I have an old Vietnam era backpack with custom bullet holes (from it's time there) and a few of my own duct tape fixed holes.
I have pants (32/32 and 31/32) and tshirts (medium) that will be going to Goodwill soon. Great for teenagers to mess around in...too small for me.

got 2 90's era front skids, nice and greazy. please take one, both, or both!
i'll take one too if their is still one available. Hey Carol you would happened to be heading back this way would you?

Yeah, I took a few rounds back in 'nam when I was a tail gunner on a Copachehawk jet helicopterplane bomber. There I was...............

Well, since I can't remember what area you live in, and "So Cali" isn't terribly specific... I don't know! But I will be hitting areas as far west as Torrance and as far east as Menifee sometime within the next few weeks..., so odds may be pretty good I'll be by "that way". And one more greasy skid plate isn't going to trouble me or my poor car.

The "notepad" feature on my phone's gonna start overheating soon. I need to upgrade to a fancy schmancy one that can do an Excel drop off/pick up railroad routing & scheduling thing.:compwork:. I think I could blow up my TomTom 130 trying to route it all...

But it'll be easy once I figure out where all I'm going, what I'm getting & dropping off, and when. XCM will leave the skids out for me to pick up, and lots of the stuff will just be dropped off by the Parts Fairy (It's easier & more PC for me to be a Parts Fairy than for most of you guys to be the Fairy :jester:!).

Niiiiiice, John! Well, all that imaginary b.s. left you mighty well preserved, I guess! "There I was..............a newborn/embryo/glint in my daddy's eye, pulling the trigger on those guns & dropping those bombs..."

Sorry bout that Carol i'm in Rancho Cucamonga i no longer need the skid but i have a set of rear doors that Sequoia wants.

All day in Santa Monica, where the parking people are like Gestapo....no ticket.

That's no lie! A couple years ago, I stopped at a dealership on Samo Blvd. to inspect a car. I admittedly parked in a "Residents Only" zone for five minutes while I got the keys. I then drove a block away to a remote gated lot owned by the dealership. When I was finished inspecting the car, there was a ticket on my car.

Evidently, the parking officer followed me to the remote lot to put the ticket on my car for parking in the "Residents Only" zone a block away. Because I KNOW for a fact that there was no ticket on my windshield when I drove from the dealership to the remote lot. I definitely would've seen it.

No good Karma for that meter maid.

I there are few times I disagree with you Johnny. On this situattion, I beg to differ.

The meter person was doing his/her job while you knowingly broke the law. So, kudos to the all the meter people for enforcing the law and shame on you Johnny for not spreading more Karma.

:D
