Trip was awesome as usual. Aside from pile driving my tie rod into a few rock faces there was very minor damage on my part. Just a bent 1-ton TRE and I was able to wheel all day on it...kind of forgot to top off w/ fuel 
and cut the day a few hours short. Blake was the grand prize winner with a busted rear drive shaft and while attempting to set himself up for recovery on the ledges, he busted the pass side front axle joint/shaft. Both Josh and I were running our winches (Ramsey 8.5 and a T-Max 9K and we could not hardly budge him to get him up the face, so we lined out for a descent down the ledges and then proceed to tow him back to camp. It looked like the damn elephant walk with us all tied together to get out of there . Josh was in the lead pulling and I was behind Blake with a strap to keep the pull from behind on the descents. We all made it back safely, which is all that really matters. As with any recovery, there were the onlookers giving their $.02 and I was just about to start strangling people with my winch cable! Bunch of cheerleader Jeepers were there saying shit like "a Warn winch could have pulled him up that".....fawking pansies all bolted when I told them to get their ass in there and help....(I was hungry and cranky at this point) :chef:
maybe one day I can have a cheerleader Jeep w/ a Warn winch on it, b/c then I would be invincible!!!
vincepru-I am not a fan of KU, often refered to as Gay-U simply b/c it is a Missouri/Kansas rivalerly (sp?) I am Missouri born and raised!!!!!! I lived and worked in SW KS for a few years ane was never so happy to leave a place.
The next trip will be either Disney or KS Rocks, so I will post up the details once we all get something put together......
