I have had an 89 YJ and a 99 TJ but there is just something about my stock ass XJ that I love better than the others that I have had. I can only imagine what its going to be like when I lift it, lock it, and stroke it. One of the things I like is the room for camping, I am more of a trailer than a rocker.
 
No No timmy... double cardon driveshaft.. not a CV

Sometimes a front XJ driveshaft will work in the back when doing a SYE. And I believe your model is one of them. I used a front in the back of mine when I broke one of my rears and only had to carry 1 spare shaft.

same here, i'm wanting to build a really good trail rig not so into the rocks "yet" that will be my next jeep

Yeah I was noticing the camber as well. Did that kit come with front disconnects on the swaybar or no ? Mine is the Exteme Duty 5.5 and came with the disconnects. If you have them on the front, pull the clevis pins and hang those puppies up and out of the way and you'll see the difference. Just don't forget to reconnect before getting back on the pavement, etc. Jeep looks very nice though, very clean. I don't like white cause it doesn't take much to make it look dirty, and you're gonna be busy cleaning yours, lol. The rear sway bar is good if you didn't add the kit you did. I'm surprised the instructions didn't tell you to remove it, like mine did. They were very clear about not reinstalling the sway bar in my kit. Call RE if you have any concerns about the do's and dont's regarding your specific lift, if that is infact your lift.
 
yeah they removed the rear sway and i have the quick disconnects. how hard is it to put them back into place once your done wheelin

just make sure your on LEVEL ground, or its gonna be a PITA, and dont let your sway bar get bound up in the coil spring, my friend did that and this happened

he was going through this rut, got the front where it is sway bar got trapped in the coil somehow, and when he went forward POP and over he went.. so tie it up with something when you disconect it
 
damn, that sucks man. is that a common problem? never seen that

i bungie mine to the bumper when i wheel. works like a charm.

depends on which brand/style of discos u have. I have the JKS quicker discos and i can do it all by myself as long as im on a level surface. one of my buddies back in high school had the RE discos from back in the day where u had a pin at the top and a pin at the bottom and the bar that u had to remove in the middle and even on a level surface it took 3 to 4 guys and a blunt object to get those back in. So if you want to make it easy on yourself and u havent already bought them go for the JKS quicker disconnects or similar style. otherwise maek sure u got a couple of big buddies with u and a blunt object when u go out wheeling.
