Funny thing, Troy and Josh pick up some extra coin because other people either can't, or won't get out to the yards and get dirty.

Then there is the whole concept of taking your time and tools, finding and purchasing sevicable parts, and hoping you get paid for them???

I don't mind keeping an eye out when somebody posts up, or reporting some desireable part that I saw. Past that the guy who's looking ought to be proactive in aquiring the desired part.

Thanks! Seems like I just can't get my hands on a set of knuckles....... there is only one yard here where I live and the only WJ with knuckles had a front end collision.....

Colorado Auto Parts:

They cleared out 3 entire rows today to make room for a whole bunch more C4C cars. I imagine Monday would be a great day to go run through the yard.

Sad part is...... it appears that a very nice newer Comanche may be among them. I spotted it in their staging lot with the bright green "C4C" sprayed on the bed. It's a short bed 4x4 - possibly with a small lift too...... sickens me......

Today's spottings in the yard:
- dark gray '92 XJ that has a 3" pro comp lift and 4 shocks still under it
- '88 Waggy with a nice header panel, grill and bezels
- '99 Desert Sand 4 dr with clean body panels
- '99 White Classic 4dr with tan interior
- Two '97+ 2dr XJ's with good 2dr related parts

I'm gonna try to run through on Monday to see if that MJ gets added, and then see what else shows up. I found 'Raptor's WJ knuckles he needs so I might go get those as well.

Hmmmmmm......... I wonder...... If I were to cut that MJ in half, I wonder if I could go in and buy the rear half one day, then come in and buy the front half the next? Maybe that's the way to get a whole car outta there.......

I need a couple rounded off lug nuts. A broken tie rod end for 72 Maverick. Hood from a 79 Pinto in green. A right axle shaft from a Matador. Left turn signal for 76 Vega. And a used rod bearing 5 cylinder Audi engine (prefer the # 3 cylinder).

This is dumbest thread I have seen. LOL

I need a radiator cap for a Volkswagon, some muffler bearings and a couple of rear doors for a 69 Camaro.

Dood - that purdy white '99 2dr you raped and pillaged is still there...... pretty much as you left it..... Same with that '96 that donated it's doors to your MJ..... not a whole lot stripped off most of the XJ's that were there back when we had our way with 'em..... I was a bit surprised.

I got to get a camera soon. I just about make up my mind then read a few bad reviews, makes me question if it's the one for me.

I would like to get back over for another round of pillage the junkyard soon. I have another list going!

Get a cheap one for snapshots and shop pics. If you happen to do more impact testing; oh well! If it takes a memory card you can still recover the pictures.
