Jumping on the build wagon

time to start on the rear bumper
big big big thanks to DesertRunner @ Dirtbound for his half hour of talking me through the rear bumper build and getting me setup with the right swing out tire carrier for my specific version of their cut and fold rear bumper

Why didn't you notch out the bottom of the fairlead plate for the shackle clevis? It would've kept the angle transition all the way across to the side plates.

i actually moved the fairlead plate out this time. it sits forward of the wind ends one extra thickness
i had a little trouble fitting every thing on the last one i build so i moved it out
i did however smooth the bottom of it into the main skid

so took it up to dale's and met with Jim (seeingspots) and Jim, guy who works there to get paint for the clip lined out

girl got some sun

and then back in the cage

lovin the stance

got some more bumper done

wazzup with the smooshed 5.0?

And what exactly did you do today, aside from loading the jeep on a trailer and hauling it around? I don't see any difference, and taking it to dale's means nothing to me.

90% of that skid fits, that is a good start. When gas hits $5/GA (again) you'll want the other 10% of a tank skid to keep thieves away from your XJ.

Bumpers turned out nice. You should somehow integrate that left over piece into the jeep to show your fondness for Rusty's. :D
