Jumping on the build wagon

so i need a little critiquing on an unfinished idea

This is a ZJ rear sway bar, not sure if its and thicker than the XJ bar but its a bit stiffer
its also got the same ends as our front bars allowing me to run front sway bar disco's on the rear. Besides the usual " you dont need a rear swaybar" and "throw that shit in a scrap pile" what say y'all. Regardless im running a rear sway bar. This may just be a cheap alternative to an Addco bar.

Hey Texas ...... I mean Colorado wana be ...... your shit is always fallin apart....

once I get some steering on the tj wanna drag your other piece of jeep around penrose with me? I am thinking as soon as the snow is gone I will be ready.

Good luck with that rear ZJ sway bar when i had my 95 ZJ that thing snapped in a couple weeks after lifting it just going over small stuff on the road to the house .

David, sure.
One ton, did you lengthen your end links? I ran a rear sway bar on my 5.9 zj with extended links and poly bushings. Never had a problem and last time I looked at it (Jd has it now) it was still intact

hmmm that's a good question the sway bar broke with my first lift a short arm re 4.5 superflex and a 2 inch puck ...lol...it was my first lifted ride and for looks , which i did not conceive that 6.5 shadetree set up on short arms it was the brainchild ( less) of High Country 4x4 and installed by them ...lol...took them 9 days to bolt in that lift .

It's still in good shape!

not much progress here
got tags on it and started ironing out some driveability issues
thing runs strong and not a hint of death wobble either

some back bumper work today

not sure how i feel about this hinge yet

and man i wish dirtbound had some kind of blownup this piece goes here puzzle box lid

If you want me to build you a spindle support of doom, just let me know. Pretty sure that if there was ever a nuclear attack, all that would survive is cockroaches, twinkies, and my spindle support.

Yeah that needs boxed in. That won't survive much of any sort of impact......

Holy hanging exhaust Batman! Rear bumper looks nice.

they are fun arent they! haha ive built and shipped a good 20-30 its always a blast! looks like you have the majority of the parts in the right spots!

the parts im curious of
im lost on this little piece thats supposed to be bent at the bottom
then that one with the hole in the middle on the left and the little rectangle above the little piece to be bent

the one with the hole in the center pointy ends gets welded on the bottom of the arm its the stop tab it should of had reliefs cut in it so you could bend it. you can toss it in a vise and smack it with a hammer to bend it. or i can send ya another one with the reliefs. the one with the cut line in it and the two rounded corners would be your skid tab gets welded to the inside of the arm and should contact the top of the bumper to take the weight when the bumper is closed. the rectangle is a cap for the end of the arm.
