Jeep Show/Meet and Greet In Northeast MA

I want to organize an informal Jeep show in the Peabody, MA area. I think it would be a good meet and greet for us Jeepers in the area. I'm hoping to get a crew of good people to go out wheeling this summer. All are welcomed no matter what kind of Jeep.

My mother-in-law's boyfriend just started a "gourmet" hotdog truck in the area so we could meet at pretty much any open parking lot in the area and he could show up and sell us good food for the show.

Would anyone in the area be interested? I know myself and two other XJers will be there. I'm thinking a Thursday or Friday night (6:30ish) the last few weeks of April or begining of May.

ill probly go depending on how my gas money situation is, im about 2 hrs away in NH

a little too far for me, but we should start looking into an all day club run out in western ma soon. id like to actually get out and wheel as a member of naxja

im in the same boat as redneckboarder, not as far but same deal with the gas situation... and billyjp2, good idea with the NAXJA wheeling, that sounds like a good idea. if we have this meet n greet we could talk more about that there possibly...??

if billy brings his camo jeep i'll bring mine ;) ...its not camo, but it isn't much of a fan of the highway either...but if we do next friday i'll do my best to get there. i usually work friday nights but thats easy to switch, just lmk asap if that date is a definite...

I might be able to go with one of my buddies. I'm not too far away. It'll be nice to meet some new people.

OK well if I said next Friday (April 25th) at 6:00 how many could make it?

If I can add a bit of constructive criticism here, You may want to give folks a little more notice and plan it for maybe mid-May or something. I have found that a months notice is usually satisfactory for something like this.

I have set up a few of these (have one at RC on April 26th) in the past, and more notice always gets more people involved. You never know though, the weather is getting nice....
