sorry for mucking up your post, John. D'oh. I guess the "quote" feature doesn't work from a blackberry. (was trying to quote the hub specs per year that was posted before).

I bought some axle stubs that were still attached to the hub from a 2000 XJ. after google searching site:naxja...(the forum search engine IMO doesn't seem to work so well) I learned they won't work on my 87.

The search engine works pretty well, you just have to learn how to use it. There is a faq on using it here somewhere..


As far as those hubs go, they would work with 2000 rotors, set them aside until the next time you do brakes. Buy a pair of 2000 XJ rotors for $40 and run those hubs.
