It's Fall Flog time in Tennessee!!!!

put it on the rear axle, call it a day, and come see us :eeks1:

That puts one of the tires with mechanical wear (worn inside edge) on the front. I'm afraid i will still end up with issues. I'm going to mount them tonight and see what I end up with.

Sucks being broke where you can't build of fix your XJ the way you want.

If anybody has a Dana 44 yoke (preferably u-bolt style) bring it with you, Dan's rear one is toast and he will need to change it before we can ride.

already called him, ive got one at the house for him ;) its not a u-bolt style but if you bing a drill and a bit it can be

so after i already figured it out my dad tells me that the symptoms i had was because of a bad battery connection... told me that if it was something simple like that i should just call him and ask him... thing is i didnt know it was that simple, oh well.

replaced the braided ground, a ground connector on the block and pulled all my wires out to trace them... i found the positive battery cable was loose in the terminal connector... thats why it slowly got worse and would only do it everynow and then... wasnt making contact with the battery...

oh and thats after i replaced the ignition switch, starter relay, a relay, and a fuse link (needed replacing anyways), and i had a battery connector on hand...the entire time...

but hey. i got new parts that wont go bad for a long time and i kept all the old stuff incase it does...

FAIL? so does it not work?

Oh, I see how it is, I tell you time after time that it is a bad battery connection and you argue with me, yet when your dad tells you the same thing, you finally decide to look and see if we could possibly be right...

Can you get the nuts on it? The last one I tried to do needed Ford style u-bolts, and after drilling I discovered that the nuts wouldn't fit in there...

no he told me after the fact... i had already found it, and you told me it was either a bad ground/connection or the iginition switch...

i replaced the iginition switch and looked for a bad connection, thats when i found it. so i DID take your advice and told my dad after the fact and thats when he agreed...

Cool man sounds good, gonna be a good time. Roger out? so 25 bucks a person per night?

Ive pretty much got everything ready to go, I gotta load a few small things in the morning. We will be leaving the nooga around 8 am with Team Hard Struggler (Tim and Rebbeca, they are crashed at my house now) Team Willys (myself and Dan), and Lil Timmys gang (Jarrad and Lauren, but will be leaving slightly later than the rest of us). I think Doug is meeting us up there in the morning.

By the way Doug, Tim was able to get Dan a u-bolt style yoke at the PAP off of a TTB F-150 HP44, so we should be set. Might not hurt to bring that one though... just in case.

And blake... by the way, I was only kidding. Glad you got it figured out! Time to test out the Rock Solid Beadlocks!
