Anyways, that bumper could be improved. Get a winch with the removable solenoid and then tuck it between the front frame rails...that'll help your approach.

Not really. If you look closely you can see Rick pushed the winch up against the radiator and there is no A/C condensor there either. If he dropped the winch it could be moved back maybe an inch or two but the winch is now 7 or 8 inches lower.

Could cut out the cross member and go back a little from there but it would be a bunch of work to get the structure back and I still don't think you would gain that much.

I'm talking about cutting the crossmember out. A winch cradle would more then be enough to gain the structure back, after all the stock crossmember is a piece of sheetmetal. But yes, just moving it down wouldn't do much.

Ohio gets snow? Was out playing in it all weekend and Tuesday. About five fresh inches overnight. However, Arizona would be NICE. All those warm sunny days with no RAIN!!! Oh yeah, I was checking out the mirror too. Jeff

What size tubing did you use for the front stinger? It looks pretty big. My guess is 1.75"?

Very good guess, right on the money. All tubing in the thing is 1.75" .120 wall HREW.
