Is the WCGIC rubbing off on me?

I'm thinking maybe they're on to something. I ditched the front bumper and built this:

The pics suck, I know.......you think I might need a new camera??

I don't have any action pics (because of the camera), but have had it out on a couple hard trails. Man is it nice not hitting my bumper on everything! Obstacles that gave me problems with the approach angle are no sweat now.

Maybe one day i'll be able to follow Matt :sunshine:

Thats sick... so is your lame camera!

I assume you put some lights in that? Didnt go round did you?!

Funny.......Vanda and I went up to Table Mesa last Sat night to camp out under the stars. Got out there about 11:30 and unloaded the jeep for a quick night run. Thats about the time I realized I never installed headlights. Oops.
Made the run down the road and the trip up Raw Deal with one tiny rock light.

That was a blast :)

Rick, inject some tech into this thread.
Tubing, .120 wall?
What does the fender bar tie into?
Gonna add more to it?

My bad on the lack of tech......

It's .120 HREW that I had left over from the last cage build. Time will tell whether or not it'll hold up to the abuse.

The "fender bar" wraps around the A pillar and ties into the interior cage.

I don't really plan on adding any more to it. Getting rid of excess weight was also part of the reason behind it. I might add some sheetmetal to cover the big holes in the front fenderwells.

It's funny how a flop (or a roll) changes the way you look building your jeep.

You can copy it. Hell, I stared at FarmerMatts and Dave Taylors pics for a while, then copied them :laugh3:

If you guys keep posting this crap I'll probably start liking that look. I don't want to like that look.
