Yes, Deer Valley is passable all the way through. There was no more snow as of SierraFest.

why would they block the road? excessive erosion?
stanisluas or el dorado ranger station?

Fuz blocked it due to snow. Not sure which county but apparently there a station right next to the northerly entrance of the trail your talking about.

I passed through it with Ericsxj a month ago. There was snow, but it wasn't impassible. Water is low too.

I did get stuck on some snow. (I'm good at that)

By now there should be no problems.

cool. so can we get in from the 88 side?
i want to run strawbeery to 88 and DV to 4 then 4 to parrots ferry road to sonora to niagra rim from thurs night thru saturday...

i found out that the lake tahoe hi/los did a poker run on the 20th from north to south so im guessing it had to be open for that?

ITS OPEN!!! now go wheel it.

ya we are going to hit it sometime this weekend . just wanted to be sure that if i come in from the north side the damn trail head aint closed thats all...
