Interlake???

Interlake is in the early stages of development by the DNR. As of right now, it is open for 4 wheeling with no gate fee. You can view a map here: http://www.in.gov/dnr/outdoor/files/or-InterlakeMap.pdf

As far as I know the trails are marked pretty well and range from easy to hard. I haven't been there myself, but IIRC a group on JeepForum called Jeeps Gone Wild did a run there over the winter. If you search over there I think you will get some more info.

Hope that helps you Rob.

Where is it located in IN.?

I've heard of it rob. We may have to get a group together for a run there. As far as location goes i think its in souther indiana. I'll check the google.

edit: its near Lynnville, IN and its 3500 acres! Thats a lot of trails! Its about 50-60 miles due south of dugger where Redbird is located. West of Hoosier National forest on 64

Closer to 90 miles south of Dugger. (According to Google maps)

So does anyone want to organize something out there. I doubt anyone can be a trail guide due to it being relatively new so it would be sort of a hope we don't get lost run but I would want to go with some one a lil more experienced than me or Flex lol.

I like it cause it is FREE i can bring both waggies and all the kiddos.

I was just winging it i wasn't being exact. I was just giving an idea of where to look on a map.;)

Have seen people claim there are tough trails and good rocks there, but have also talked to someone that went on an ATV and didn't see any of that.

Get on KIFOURwheelers.com, bluegrass4x4.org, itsajeep.org and ask any of them... Alot of those guys have been going there. I'm sure you could find someone on one of those sites to trail guide.

I've been there once, and have been too busy working to get back.

Lynville.Boonville Exit on I-64 I believe exit 54.

I used to ride quads down there a long time ago, They closed one side of the place down(technically it was privately owned) the right side of the road you travel down is Interlake, The trails on quads were great but in a jeep I am still up in the air! I am sure a lot has changed since I went down there on quads 4 years ago but we used to know the trails real well.
