As a teacher, some days are very frustrating indeed. However, every once in a while (particularly in special education) the gods smile down on me and offer up something that truly makes showing up for work worth it. Today was one of those days. I'll set it up for you:

This particular student is the biggest kid in the entire school. He truly looks like a giant and all of the kids, and some teachers, will move to the edge of the halls when this guy passes by.

This student is crying and appears to be in great pain during class. When asked what's wrong...he does not reply...just cries. He ends up walking out of class and going to the office (in tears). Once at the nurse he, again, is asked what's wrong. He replies..."I went to sit down in class and when I did...I sat on one of my balls."

Long story short...this was not a joke. The nurse at school (who happens to be a male) checked out things and did whatever (I left the scene).

So....this brings to mind an interesting question that, normally, even I would not ask of you all. However...I am impelled to ask who here would be willing to admit sitting on their own nards? Please don't be shy. I suppose if you have really huge nuts then it's quite an accomplishment. It's just something that I've never heard happen and found it to be interesting.

YEP what he said. I was in the working in the shop one weekend and was using a 5 gal bucket as a seat. Well I went to sit on it and kind of side sat on it. I must have kicked it with my foot out of position a bit, and kind of sat on my right nut. IT F***ing HURT! I just rolled to my left and laid there for a good 10 min on the floor before getting up. I thought my right nut was going to explode.

I ball tagged a buddy playing racquet ball once. He was hurting and I was hurting from laughing so hard. I thought it could never be done. He had never played and wanted to give it a shot and so I was teaching how to play and was just taking it easy then he said play like you would if I was good. First serve he never saw the ball he was in the ready position and dropped him like a sack of flower. I served it up nice and hard like he wanted. Let’s just say he still to this day has yet to touch a racquet ball court. I was on the ground laughing so hard I couldn’t breathe. I took him to Old Cs and bought him a beer.

The ball chair does have a back rest, but it doesn't recline - you just have to move your butt back further.

I have lost my balace several times on it, and ended up flat on the floor - with my ball bouncing down the aisle...:roflmao:

So did you make or buy that thing? I used to work with woman that would use those and about once a week I would hear a yell and a thooooooouddddddddddddddd or flop. after two many of them falling off their balls they put a ban on them at the office.

I've had it for about 8 months and I've fallen off about 5 times.
It does help with posture and back problems.
