Nice.....I get the dumb redneck thingy for askin.....seriously though if ya need some help just ask and if I have some time off I would be glad to lend a hand!! Now that I know you are fairly close to Canon!:D

I just need to get this vibration thing taken care of... I got about 4" of lift in the rear and im having some minor vibrations... and a light "clunking" sound when i take my foot off the gas. Im planning on dropping the T case tomorrow night or tues night... hope this fixes the problem without having to use shims. Also thinking about leveling out the front a bit with a small spacer and taking the stock isolators out. the rear sits a tiny bit higher than the front.

By the time you finish loading gear in the back you'll never know you lifted it. LOL

Seriously though, you really need to get out and work the springs a bit before making adjustments.

Well you had 18 people vote for the 20th. So your list should be close to that long.
I voted for the 20th...Wait, I'm not even going! Oops! :D

I think a role call is a pretty good idea! Maybe even start a new thread for just a role call.

That is one thing I have had a fair amount of experience with...driveline vibration is a Bi**h!! My heep had 5" in the rear until last week when I jacked it another 2.5". Transfercase lowering is cheap and can work if your not to high. I strongly suggest getting a SYE and being done with it!! I guess for now if your on a budget just lower your TC and ensure your drivline angles are correct for your height. You should keep the rear a little higher than the front for loading purposes, I would say about an inch. I would use shims when doing a TC drop because you will need your outputs pointing at oneanother as much as possible since you do not have a CV.

I'm in Broomfield. How far is it from the end of the trail back to the trailhead and what type of road is it? My jeep is not licensed for the road and I really do not want to drive down a highway (very far) to get back to the trailer.

There is a place you'll be able to park the trailer just down from the trail head. The road leading to the trail is a dirt road anyways.

should be a good time, and with not being able to edit my post on here, it will be just as easy for everyone to just add their name and repost the list as their post.

ive been keepin my eye on the forecasts.....as the weekend draws closer there is a increase in clouds.....up there we will be first to get dumped on...any plans for bbq or whatnot when/if rain hits (i.e. anyone have tarps, gazebos, etc)
im not afraid to get wet but i imagine it would make for an interesting BBQ.......

I have a gazebo i can bring... Fits right in the back... You guys let me know if this will do... I know its not much, but im sure it will keep the rain off of us as we enjoy our cheddar brats...

I keep a tarp in the XJ anyhow, so if it gets nasty, we have that too. if we get up there early should be ok, it usually starts up around 2 in the afternoon up there, and about 4pm down here in the springs, kind of a daily occurance. we should be ok till noon though.

Jeezus......... 30 foot rooster tails in my future AGAIN!?!?......... :D

I suppose I'll bring the doors just in case. And I better plan on fixing those goofy windshield wipers.... :looney:
