Yesterday threw out 4 pairs of boots thatve crapped out on me in the past couple of weeks. Went to the redwing store, but didnt like any I saw. Sadly only store locally I can buy made in USA boots. I ended up ordering some thorogood boots, hope these last a while. Sucks when you have to spend hours just to find a product made in your country.

Pay close attention to them. Some are made in china, or the whole made in China of US materials thing.

Made sure it was their heritage line made in Wisconsin. The last red wings I bought I later found out were made in China.

I was looking for made in USA jeans but again can't find any locally. Aside from $200 a pair designer hipster jeans that is...

Duluth trading company pants were made in the US, I don't know if they still are.

Rural King jeans are made in USA IIRC.

Pros: manual, 7.3, tow mirrors
Cons: no factory cheese machine, doesn't make it's own fuel, you don't say how molested it is.

I know 7.3s go for stupid money, especially if they are rust free.
Looking at that pic on a bigger screen, I would pass. It will be a rust bucket inside of two years.
Look at the rear cab corner and the wheel well.
Run away!

unless you are getting a smoking deal, I would pass.

7.3 is a dog compared to other modern diesels but will pull and will run forever...

Like mentioned above, the 7.3 is a good motor, but is underpowered in comparison to a modern diesel. We still have a 99 and an 02 on Camille's parents farms and her dad is a full blown idiot when it comes to vehicle care. Knock on wood they have not had any motor problems, but transmissions have been plenty. the 99 has had , and I am not joking, 7 transmissions put in it and it has around 370K on it by now. the 02 is a manual and it has had 2 transmissions, but that was operator /mechanic failure. The rear drive shaft came apart at 75mph and it snapped the tcase off the tranny. It was a mongo f-up. If Sean and I have ran them and not destroyed them, that says something. :D

That one looks like a rust bucket, I would keep looking.

How long have you been waiting that out?

Dr told me to just "keep an eye on it" and try not to lift too much

Noticed it last summer, doc confirmed in September, said as long as it wasn't painful could postpone surgery indefinitely. Was fine until February when I started working 12 hr days to finish up a major remodeling job before going to Hawaii. Later in the day it would start feeling like someone kicked me in the nads, but if I sat down for 10-15 minutes I would be ok for a while.
Then in Hawaii it started bothering me more randomly, often couldn't even keep up with the wife while hiking, so I knew it was time to fix it.
