Let me rephrase the question. How did the fire happen? Minus the gas fumes catching fire clearly

long story short... wheeler dented a metal tank and it messed up the fuel pickup. they pressurized it to pop the dent, and didnt relieve the pressure slowly. the atomized fuel hit a nearby camp fire and made a giant fireball. the nearby tree still has scars, and that was... 3, 4, maybe 5 years ago?

it could have been a lot worse.

i wasnt trying to be disrespectful, i didnt feel it was my place to bring that sort of stuff up.

she was what, 8 months pregnant? very scary, and yes, could have been much worse. the fact that dan didnt end up as a human torch is also very fortunate.
