The procedure to reset it is in the manual. You just have to hold the trip thing down when you turn the ignition on.

I think it's set trip meter to Trip A turn off ign push trip and hold turn the key on until XXXXX Shows up. The X's will count down then cycle the key

I just wanted to make sure it wasn't going to melt down on me . It was hard to read the Google while driving. I didn't turn the light off...

I did turn the traction control off and bounce the engine off the rev limiter for about 3 blocks in 2nd gear on wet roads in Illinois on my way to get gas after dinner
