Important

It can if too much pressure is built up. It can over come the pump and regulator. Have this issue with cells in buggys sometimes when it's really hot out Or exhaust is too close.

But I've never seen it on a stock tank jeep.

Where is the receiver for keyless entry in an 01? In the dome light? How do you program a fob?
RKE is in the dome lamp assembly. You'll need a dealer (or a scan tool that can speak Chrysler) to program it. SKIM Doesn't do anything with locking/locking the doors. It only keeps someone from driving the vehicle off without the correct key. I'm thinking 97s had the old style RKE, but from 98-01 they where all the same. Best bet is to find a craigslist part out and grab the RKE with FOBs. Then just swap them out.

Also interesting.

I got an email about carpet concerns. I got a feeling I'll be telling the property manager to pound sand tomorrow

I haven't installed a tranny cooler in prolly 10 years...

I still hate them.

mac 'nacfest test run' gyvr

Ps yes it's not plumbed in the photo, but it is now.

Also interesting.
ecu sensor is in the side of the block. I would expect it to be a bit cooler than the head, but not 40 degrees worth.

I think you need to verify that your gauge doesn't suck.

Does the renix have a purge valve?

lol.

yeah, it's called the temp sensor in the back of the head.

I assume he's converted that pile to an open style radiator.

I think he meant evap purge. No, Renix doesn't have one. My carbon canister isn't hooked up to intake, that might be it.
I noticed it only really does it when the tank is almost empty, and it's a barely noticeable amount of pressure.

Yes, 97 radiator.

what do we like for entire exhaust systems. any vendors or suggestions?

dont think im going to put on the rock and such deflecting cherrybomb on this one

Yes, 97 radiator.

it does that because when you're low on fuel the return from the manifold heats up the fuel in the tank.

Not enough mass to control it when you're below 1/4 tank.

That's fairly normal. ugly truck used to puke fuel out of the cell if I ran it low and the side of the tank got noticeably warm. Don't do that.

No. Get this

He wants to save the carpet and put new padding down.

How in the f is that going to get rid of the smell???!

lol.

have you pitched the carpet already?

I'd tell them that you tried to get it resolved, they ignored you, so you did what was needed to make the place livable.

threaten health department if it gets that far, tell him you found mold in the padding.

You're already looking for a new place right? Property manager sounds like a slum lord.

I told her she has to beat the garbage man to them at the curb today and she'll have to duct tape the 3' sections together and shop vac the rain water out.

She didn't find it as amusing as I did hahah

I also know for a fact the plumbing and electrical are not up to code so I have that to fall back on too if she gives me too much of a hassle.

When my 10 months are up I'm out of here. Already saving up for a down payment on a place to call my own.

yeah, I thought you said this place was short term.

What's the worst they can do, keep the security deposit? F them.

Tell her to take you to small claims court over it if she really wants, then file a counter suit for the cost of material and labor to make the place habitable.

Take pictures of whatever mess that you find in case it does go to court.

I don't know how often stuff like that goes to court, but I think you'd win a counter suit if they tried to sue you.

My old house that I rented the carpet looked like I rebuilt a motor on the living room floor when I moved out. It was very old carpet as well...probably 60s era, it needed replaced when I moved in, let alone when I moved out. I got all my damage deposit back too. It was cleaned for the next guy. Now, I know the next guy and when he moved out last year the landlord tried to charge him $2k and kept his damage deposit, to replace the carpet that he said was ruined. I told the next guy that it was awful when I moved in and he shouldn't pay and I don't think he did pay.

mac 'like if you rented from Dan :) 'gyvr

I got to replace the front passenger side brake line yesterday, I'm getting good at bending brake lines, looks almost factory except not rusty and falling apart..

And what happened to my membership? I paid for another year in march
